My Taste has changed dramatically since Deavin!

Prior to Deavin, I had no interest in going to many new places to eat. I was perfectly fine with the routine visit to O'Charley's or Wing's. Great places, right? Good food, price, and you know exactly what to expect. Well, once Deavin came along and changed my world upside down, he also introduced me (intentionally or not, ask him) to a variety of new restaurants. Now, and possibly to many others dismay, I have acquired a taste for new things and have a list of new restaurants that I absolutely love! (though their prices may be a tad higher than those old conventional places I previously mentioned) ;)

Now, for a review of some of my most recent explorations in food.

Currently, this is my favorite place. Deavin had nothing to do with the introduction to this one. My first experience at a Cheesecake Factory was in Tampa, Florida with Aunt Janice and Uncle Bob. After one visit and some awesome blueberry cheesecake, I was hooked. I went to the one in Birmingham for my 20th birthday!

I never imagined myself being a fan of a japanese steakhouse. I never even imagined I would GO to one, much less love it. This is where Deavin and I had our first date, you could say. It was our fake "prom" night in the summer of 2008. We've been several times since then and it never fails to impress.

I've only been to P.F. Chang's once, and I didn't even order my own meal. I simply tried two other people's meals and basically fell in love with it. I'm seeing some kind of trend here with asian food...
Anyway, this could possibly become my favorite.

I've not especially crazy about California Pizza Kitchen, but I did have a good sandwich there the day after Christmas. And it was definitely different.

Deavin and I went to Firebirds for our one year anniversary of dating. It was great!

Yogurt Mountain. Holy crap. I found out about this place myself. One day recently when Deavin, Taco, Brittany, and I were at the Summit, we decided to visit Yogurt Mountain and see what it's all about. My taste buds were in heaven! I wish I could have a Yogurt Mountain-catered wedding reception.

There's probably more places we have been to that I cannot remember right now. And I'm assuming there are more than likely upscale seeing as that is what we like to gravitate towards occasionally. Point being, I have an awesome fiance and am loving going new places.
